Who this is for

This consultation suits professionals who have two written offers, or one new offer that needs to be weighed against an existing German employment relationship. It is especially useful when salary points one way while working time, role scope, bonus wording, location or security point another.

What we compare

We review base salary, variable compensation, signing or relocation payments, holiday allowance, probation, notice periods, working hours, overtime language, workplace and remote-work terms, benefits, restrictive clauses and the stated responsibilities of each role. We also identify assumptions that should be confirmed with the employers.

You receive:

• a pre-session document review of up to two offers and supporting benefit summaries;
• a private 75-minute video consultation with an employment adviser;
• a concise comparison sheet organised by money, time, flexibility, risk and career direction;
• up to three prioritised questions or negotiation points for each employer.

The service does not include legal representation, tax calculations, immigration advice, background checks or communication with the employer on your behalf. Where specialist advice is needed, we will say so plainly.

How it works

After requesting a consultation, you receive secure upload instructions. Send the offer documents at least two working days before the appointment and remove unnecessary identifiers such as bank details or national ID numbers. We read both documents, mark meaningful differences and prepare the comparison.

During the video session, we first establish what matters in your circumstances: for example, childcare schedules, a planned move, appetite for probation risk or a route into management. We then work through the offers and finish with a decision map. The written summary follows within one working day.

Practical limits

The fixed fee covers two offers of up to 20 pages each, written in English or German. Collective agreements, executive contracts, equity plans and cross-border tax questions may need additional specialist review. We confirm any scope change before work begins.
